VocaNum for iPhone

Know your words.Find your next.

How much English do you really know? VocaNum helps you find out, then turns the words that need attention into your next little moment of progress.

English vocabulary, one short session at a time.

VocaNum’s Learning map groups words into first encounters, still forming, different faces, and words that take longer to recall.
A VocaNum Session Summary shows eight newly verified words, one recovered word, one word needing review, and the session’s answer history.
Quick Play in VocaNum asks which meaning matches “customer account”, with four answers and an “I don’t know yet” option.
A closer look at your English.

01 / Understand your vocabulary

A number is only
the beginning.

Some words come instantly. Some take a moment. Others feel familiar until you need them. VocaNum helps you see the difference.

Your vocabulary isn't one number. It's thousands of individual signals. Some words are securely known, some are developing, and some need another look. VocaNum brings your answers together in a vocabulary estimate.

How is the app different from the vocabulary test?

The website test gives you a starting estimate of the English words you recognize. The iPhone app is where you keep going: answer questions, build a history for individual words, revisit weaker vocabulary, and follow your progress over time.

What does verified vocabulary mean?

It reflects the words supported by your answers in VocaNum. Confidence adds another layer: a word can be developing, more securely known, or in need of review. Think of the number as a picture built from your practice, rather than a count of every English word in your memory.

Can I practice offline?

Yes. Core vocabulary learning works offline, so you can keep practicing without a connection. Downloads, purchases, and features that use online services need internet access.

Do I need a VocaNum account?

You can use core vocabulary learning without creating a VocaNum account. Open the app and start with a question.

Where can I find pricing and VocaNum Pro options?

Current download pricing and available in-app purchases are shown on the App Store and in VocaNum. Pro includes additional features such as Pro Precision. Purchases and subscriptions made through the App Store are managed by Apple.
